Can I download multiple files or a whole folder?

Yes.
Multiple files or a whole folder contents will be archived (compressed) to a .zip file when downloaded.

Can I do virus check before the download?

Yes.
You can specify the file(s) to perform Antivirus Check action. See “Execute Actions” for more information on how to perform actions on uploaded files.

How can I delete the uploaded files?

You can manually delete uploaded files and folders. Files and folders deleted in DOX will be moved to Trashbox of the account which performed the operation. You can manually delete files and folders from Trashbox. Otherwise, they will be automatically deleted after seven days.
See “Delete Files and Folders” and “Use Trashbox” for more information on deletion of files and folders.

Can I have IIJ to delete unnecessary files and folders?

No, IIJ will not be available for such request. Storage management is left to customer’s responsibility.

Is there a way to automatically delete particular files after a certain period of time?

No. Files in Trashbox will be automatically deleted after 7 days.

I deleted some files by mistake. Can I recover them?

Files and folders deleted in DOX will be moved to Trashbox of the account which performed the operation. You can recover files and folders to their original locations. Note that you can no longer recover files and folders once you delete them from your Trashbox.

My terminal or program abnormally terminated while I was directly editing a file in DOX. How does it affect the file?

It varies from software to software. In order to avoid any data loss, please download the file, edit and upload it again.

What is the easy way to access frequently used folders?

You can add the folders to Favorites. Clicking “Favorites” tab displays a list of favorite folders.
See “Managing Favorites” for more information on Favorites.

Why am I unable to access the folders in Favorites?

The original folder may be deleted or moved.
Links in Favorites do not automatically update. Please delete the link once and add again.

Can I display a specific folder or group space when I log in to WebUI?

No.
However, you can access a specific folder or group space directly using the following methods.

Can I set access controls on folders?

Yes. You can set access control on folders in the common space. “Read Only” and “Read/Write” access is available on per account or group basis. Account with neither access will have “No Access”.

Can I save two files with the identical name in the same folder?

No. Please select a different folder when you copy or move a file.

Can I use search criteria other than file name (e.g. updated date and time)?

Yes.
Advanced Search provides file name, folder name, comment and updated date/time for search criteria.

Does DOX support WebUI in the English language environment?

Yes.
To use WebUI in English, select “English (U.S.)” as the primary language of your browser.

Does DOX support UNIX or Mac OS?

DOX supports Windows and Mac OS. See "About this site" on the WebUI login screen for more information about browsers that support WebUI.
WebDAV supports the WebDAV clients included with Windows 10.
WebDAV can also be used with UNIX and Mac OS if a third-party WebDAV client is used, but this is not supported.

What MIME type does DOX support?

DOX applies application/octet-stream as a MIME type in order to display the “Save As” dialog box whenever accounts download files from WebUI.
However, some browsers may not provide any “Save As” dialog box and directly display the contents of downloaded file.
Please note that MIME types are not registered by file type.
